Food and Beverage Delivery AttendantPart TimePocono Mountain Villas by Exploria ResortsJob Summary:The Food and Beverage Delivery Attendant will report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and deliver food and supplies to guest rooms and food outlets. This position requires high attention to guest satisfaction and customer service.Responsibilities and Duties:
- Transport food and supplies to guest rooms and food outlets.
- Ensure that all food delivery is completed in a timely manner to meet schedule demands.
- Maintain an assigned schedule.
- Follow traffic laws and drive in a safe manner to ensure safety.
- In between deliveries assist the cashier in assisting guests.
- Clean and bus tables, sweep, and assist with stocking inventory.
- Maintain vehicle in clean condition.
- Maintain the fuel level of the assigned golf cart.
- Notify management immediately of any mechanical failure.
Qualifications and Skills:
- No prior experience required
- Must be able to drive a golf cart and have a clean driving record
- Valid drivers license
- Skill in handling and counting cash
- Clean and neat appearance
Required Competencies:
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to speak and hear.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Constant standing with some walking.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 lbs.
- Continue use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
