Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Reliable Respiratory has an exciting job opportunity for a Delivery Driver Technician out of our Norwood, MA location ! *This is a Full Time, Monday through Friday Opportunity*This position requires travel to our customers homes, delivering equipment, providing customer support, and working at our office when not making deliveries. At Reliable Respiratory, we provide the highest quality CPAP, BiPAP, AutoPAP, Masks, Nebulizers, and Oxygen Equipment, along with professional, understanding, and attentive service. We care about our customers, work closely with the medical community, and have highly skilled staff ready to assist customers in receiving the best airway management care possible for sleep apnea and asthma. The Delivery Driver Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up equipment to customers. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with customers in their homes delivering and picking up durable medical equipment
  • Coordinates with the Respiratory Therapists to provide additional equipment as needed
  • Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
  • Ensures equipment is cleaned properly and in accordance with Reliable Respiratory's standards
  • Maintains the Company vehicle in a clean, safe operating condition and completes logs as required
  • Assists in receiving orders and putting away inventory as needed
  • Complies with all policies and procedures established by the company and the company's regulatory bodies
  • Other tasks and duties as required
Basic Qualifications:
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require work authorization from us now or in the future
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent
  • Have a valid and current driver's license from the state of residence
  • Have at least 3 years verifiable driving experience
  • Have no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents on the driving record within the past 3 years
  • Have no misdemeanor conviction relating in any way to the operation of a motor vehicle where you have been convicted of, or released from incarceration, within the past three years (other than a first conviction for any of the following misdemeanors: drunkenness, simple assault, speeding, minor traffic violations, affray or disturbance of the peace) and no felony convictions
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
Required Skills:
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to reconcile multiple shifting logistical factors for each appointment
  • Ability to work independently to investigate and make decisions
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Familiar with FDA regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call outside of normal business hours when required
