Hamshaw Lumber is an opening for a part time delivery driver. We are a locally owned and operated business providing quality materials with personalized service. The right candidate will have had experience safely operating a variety of delivery trucks. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, assisting customers, operating forklifts, keeping vehicles organized and safe, and assisting in other team members in the yard.Preliminary Requirements for consideration include:Driver's License in good standingDOT health cardClean driving recordAbility to work weekends. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.Familiar with building materials including lumber.Previous experience in a lumber yardAbility to work independently and as a team.Detailed orientedAbility to work outdoors.Must take and pass a drug test and pre-employment assessment.Must consent to a background check.Hamshaw Lumber provides a competitive compensation and benefit package.
