The Delivery Driver position is located at our Distribution Center in Eagle Vail, Avon, Colorado. We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Gorsuch family. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in meeting new people, traveling to our stores in Vail, Aspen and Park City who also enjoy the mountain lifestyle to be part of our team. The sky is the limit in your career with Gorsuch, this position can lead you to other positions such as Management, Merchandising, Logistics, and much more!General Duties of the Delivery Driver are:
- Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the appropriate stores, departments and offices.
- Maintains trucks including, but limited to tracking mileage, notifying supervisor when service is required, cleaning inside and outside of vehicle, and checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Check board for store requests and mail slots daily.
- Deliver and retrieve mail.
- Responsible for the security of all items delivered.
- May be utilized for special projects including, but not limited to store set up, home deliveries, recycling runs, etc.
- Perform laborer functions in warehouse as needed.
- Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What the Delivery Driver will need to be a great candidate:
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery services, and working in a warehouse atmosphere.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes a minimum of 1 weekend day and holidays.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License.
- Must be insurable under Company's vehicle policy.
- Able to drive Sprinter Vans, Box trucks in mountain driving conditions.
- Able to drive to Aspen and Snowmass Stores.
- Drive a truck to Park City Utah store on weekly basis, or occasionally.
Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate: $24 - $30.00. The rate of pay is the range we reasonably expect to pay for this position and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Gorsuch offers a selection of competitive benefits for this position.
