Job Description:Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver include delivery of company products to company locations, customer dispensary/cultivation and state regulated testing facilities. Drivers are responsible for printing, reviewing and completing all delivery trip reports (manifests) and other paperwork as required by the company and Arizona Department of Health Services. Review completed delivery documents to ensure compliance based on company and state requirements, scan and file in correct folder. Drivers shall possess situational awareness, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communications skills, and the ability to represent Copperstate Farms in a positive, professional manner.Core Responsibilities:Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:• Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries complying with all company and state guidelines regarding established trip routes and schedules• Be able to read maps or set GPS daily to track route• Make sure orders match manifest (accompanying delivery documents)• Load and organize orders from warehouse into vehicle and unload products in and out of truck/van as needed throughout the day• Maintain complete confidentiality of all delivery information including routes, customers, product specifications and delivery times. This includes internal contacts (other employees), and any member of the public, before, after or during any delivery• Ensure product is delivered in a safe and timely manner• Supply proof of delivery, arrival/departure times, signatures, copies of FA Cards and more• Maintain delivery route status via Teams chat on mobile device• Refuel and maintain DEF levels on diesel vehicles, keep and scan fuel receipts at end of shift• Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered during route, to manager• Maintain vehicle, including state required devices, cleanliness, remove trash and debris daily• Complete pre/post vehicle checks for each route• Always follow all rules and regulations of the road per company and state requirements• Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading of product• Work well, professionally, and effectively with fellow co-workers• Other duties as assignedCommitment & Dependability:• Willingness to be an integral member of a successful team• Dedication to provide the highest levels of service• Excellent attendance and reliability• Adherence to company policies and procedures• Expectation to work weekends and holidays as required• Properly handle confidential customer information and other non-public company proprietary informationQualifications & Education:• High School diploma or equivalent preferred• Must be at least 21 years of age• Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to get a facility agent card• Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles• Clean driving record with no violations within the last 5 years, no major violations• Clean criminal historyPhysical Requirements:• Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands with repetitive motions• Frequently requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials• Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching• Must work indoors and outdoors year-round• Must work in noisy and crowded environments• Observe, see, hear, and respond to directions given with effective outcome• Lift 25-50 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary• Crouch & bend often throughout• Stand for short / long periods of time• Sit for short / long periods of time• Walk for short / long periods of time• Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level• Frequent use of hands doing all sorts of repetitious motions• Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position• Must be able to use all PPE equipment for each department• Must be able to do physical labor in all types of environments such as the airconditioned rooms within the facility as well as the heat of the greenhouse which can be over 100 degrees with high humidityCertifications or Training Requirements:• Complete New Hire Orientation & Safety Training• Additional trainings as assigned by managementDisclaimer: This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
