Job DetailsJob LocationWarrenton Oil Corporate - Warrenton, MODescriptionGENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position supports Warehouse operations by delivering products to company-owned hotels and convenience stores on an established route (average of 7 stops per day). This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, locatin, and pushing / pulling a significantly high volume of cases repeatedly per day ranging from 20 - 50 pounds per case. The Warehouse Delivery Driver communicates and interacts with managers and co-workers frequently throughout the day.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES•Assist in receiving stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct•Deliver a variety of items from internal or external sources over scheduled and/or unscheduled routes to assigned locations and/or individuals.•Drive vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.) for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites, including loading and unloading trucks. This includes loading customer returns on a trailer.•Operate pallet jacks and hand truck to load and unload trailer for company and/or customer, transporting items to designated storage areas. Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.•Ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times.•Keep truck and trailer clean and free of debris.•Maintain delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle (including performance of all required pre/post-trip safety / inspection checks on trailer and truck according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Report all safety issues and repairs required.•Deliver products to company locations as required•Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.•Assist shipping and receiving in unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.•May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.•Assist with general maintenance of trucks, such as oil changes.•Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to pre-determined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product role.•Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Perform count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.•Fill requisitions, work orders, or request for materials, tools, or other stock items, and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.•Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.•Participate in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.•Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe.•Advise the Company of any actions / situations that poste a threat to any employee, customer, or guests.•Observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.•Job may require other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES•Communication proficiency•Organizational skills•Mathematical skills•Technical capacity•Time managementEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & TRAINING•High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience•Must have a Class A CDL driver license and keep it current CRITICAL RESPONSE TEAMDuring extraordinary times of severe weather or emergency conditions, some positions require on-site presence and leadership to continue business operations, known as Critical Response Employees. During severe or emergency situations, or when a State of Emergency has been issued, Critical Response Employees are required to report to or remain at work, ensure the safety of all employees and customers, serve as the person-in-charge for all site-specific needs, serve as liaison with emergency personnel and upper management, and maintain a calm demeanor while executing a sense of urgency to the critical response situation, even if under duress. Any media inquiries during a critical response situation should be directed to the Director of Human Resources.WORK ENVIRONMENT•This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday; standards warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers are in use.•This position is required to operate pallet jack and forklift.PHYSICAL ABILITIES•Regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, balance, and reach•Reqularly required to talk and/or hear•Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 points, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
