Purpose at Ashley: The Delivery Helper assists the Delivery Driver in delivering products to designated locations in an efficient, effective, and safe manner, while promoting exceptional customer service through quality workmanship, as well as clear and professional communication. You will be responsible for responsible for assisting in the delivery of our products to customers' homes on pre-routed trips. You will be responsible for assisting the driver with directions while on route as needed. Delivery can range from dropping at doorstep to full set up of product in home. It critical to have a customer centric mindset as your delivery is direct to the customer and our goal is to always give our customers a world class experience. What You'll Do • Responsible for loading products into trucks with driver and going to customers' homes on pre-routed trips. Delivery can range from dropping at doorstep to full set up of product in home. • Following the best practices for safety while loading or unloading a truck • Communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries. • Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions. What You Bring • Legally Authorized to work in the US. • At least 21 years old. • Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to transport loads of 50+ lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Maintain reliable attendance. • Thrive in a team environment.
