The ERP Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related boundary systems. This position will manage a team of external Oracle support resources, ensure successful quarterly Oracle Fusion release cycles, and oversee the testing and validation of all updates prior to implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, ERP systems integration, and project management experience within large-scale ERP implementations.
Essential Position Functions
Principal Accountabilities
- Manage the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and its associated boundary systems.
- Oversee and direct a team of external Oracle Support resources, ensuring optimal performance and collaboration.
- Manage the quarterly release cycle from Oracle Fusion Cloud, including thorough review, testing, and validation of updates prior to production implementation.
- Collaborate with functional leads to ensure comprehensive testing, integration, and validation of updates across all business units.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of any issues related to Oracle Fusion releases and system updates.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes related to release management, testing protocols, and system integrations.
- Stay up-to-date on Oracle Fusion product features and developments, and provide recommendations on system enhancements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of ERP-related projects.
- Ensure adherence to change management protocols and maintain consistent communication with all impacted stakeholders.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations and release management.
- Proven ability to manage external support teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules and quarterly release cycles.
- Experience in managing testing and validation processes for ERP system updates.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with IT change management best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing timelines and deliverables.
- Oracle ERP certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
