Delivery MerchandiserThe Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for following behind a driver to merchandise retail accounts. This role is nonexempt and reports to the Delivery Manager.Full Time and Part Time positions are currently available.Primary Objectives & Essential Functions:Merchandising FunctionsFills, rotates, and merchandises products in cold vaults, shelves and displays.Physically moves product from pallets to cooler to stock using a hand truck.Organizes, Rotates, and maintain backroom coolers for easy access.Maintain professional behavior with all accounts serviced.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust have excellent communication skills.Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy the needs of customers.Able to work independently.Willingness to work fast paced to keep within assigned hours.Physically demanding (lifting to 50lbs)The Delivery Merchandiser assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Delivery Manager and Area Delivery Managers. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to:Attendance ExpectationsAppearanceProfessionalismRetailer Satisfaction Performance (SSM)All other duties as assigned.Development of Delivery MerchandiserParticipates in company and team meetings and attends other meetings as required.Continued education programs when necessary.BrewU Course Related to job function and safetyTransitional program to train and develop Delivery Merchandiser to a Sales role.Delivery Merchandiser RequirementsHe/she must possess an effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers.Maintain a smartphone with data plan capable of operating delivery softwareBroad knowledge of company objectives.Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills.Ability to read and understand merchandise pricing and invoicing.Excellent computer skills in all applicable programs.The Delivery Merchandiser must demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsRequired to possess and maintain a valid Driver License. Driving records must remain free of significant violations and meet company policies and standards.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPhysical DemandsThese physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Delivery Merchandiser. In addition, the exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels will range from quiet to loud.
