Schedule: Monday-Friday, ~2:45am start time. 50-55 Hours/Week

Pay: $72,000/year +Bonus

Job Summary:

As a Direct Store Delivery Manager for PROformance, you will oversee and manage a team of delivery drivers and merchandisers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, optimizing delivery routes, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently. The manager will primarily perform duties in the field, with some office responsibilities at the end of the day.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Management: Oversee daily operations of delivery drivers and merchandisers, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing conditions.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor team performance metrics, ensuring compliance with KPIs related to accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise in the field, providing support and guidance to team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Training and Onboarding: Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing team members to ensure they are well-versed in company standards and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations, including State and FDA food safety guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate reporting of any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
  • Field Focus: Conduct the majority of responsibilities in the field, with some office duties at the end of the day.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in route management, logistics, or a similar supervisory role is required.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Drivers License: Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office suite and route planning software.
