Chemtek, Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of multiple products to various destinations while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service.What you will work on:• Delivery Operations:• Safely operate a Class A commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations.• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adhering to scheduled delivery times.• Inspect and maintain vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to the maintenance team.• Customer Service:• Interact professionally with customers during delivery, addressing any questions or concerns.• Ensure that all deliveries are completed accurately and that goods are handled with care.• Obtain necessary signatures and complete required documentation for each delivery.• Safety and Compliance:• Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations and company safety policies.• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking tires, brakes, and other essential components.• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.• Load Management:• Assist in the loading and unloading of goods as needed.• Verify that the load matches the shipping paperwork and ensure proper securing of cargo.• Reporting:• Complete and submit daily logs, delivery reports, and any other required paperwork.• Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle damage promptly to the appropriate personnel.Qualifications:• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.• Strong knowledge of truck driving safety and regulations.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo.Physical Requirements:• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.• Ability to sit for long periods while driving.• Capable of working in various weather conditions.What We Offer:• Competitive Salary with Opportunities for Professional Advancement• Health Insurance and Expense Reimbursement for family• Holidays with 8 Days at Christmas, Paid Time Off (Sick, Vacation, Personal)• Paid Time Off for Volunteer Activities• 401K with Company ContributionWho We Are:Chemtek is a family owned and operated company with next generation ideas and innovation providing unique chemical solutions to the road construction and aviation industries.
