We believe in partnering with others who share these values and understand their importance.Job DescriptionTitle: Demand PlannerReports toSenior Manager, Demand PlanningOverviewThis position will be responsible for accurate and timely demand forecasts and analyzing core replenishable and other key items of the business. They also manage the reporting and analysis of Supply, Demand & Inventory. The role often partners with other Planning areas, as well as the Procurement, Merchandising & Sales teamsResponsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts within Logility. Review forecasts incorporating shifts due to marketing, promotion or new doors expansions.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop safety stock models, and evaluate forecast results
  • Review SKU inventory position and collaborate with procurement to address additional stock requirements
  • Handle impromptu requests for reporting/analysis, and assist in preparation for business meetings
  • Weekly and Monthly reporting of KPIs.
  • Strong Collaborations with Planning Channels and Supply Chain
  • Assist with assortment planning management
  • Ability to work independently to identify areas opportunities and implement solutions
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years' experience with demand planning
  • Retail, Wholesale or Supply Chain experience required
  • Proficient with Demand Planning Tools - Logility or similar demand planning system is required. Strong understanding of time phased forecasting, statistical models and forecasting parameters.
  • Ability to effectively utilize tools to monitor performance and effectiveness
  • Knowledge of inventory models and metrics including forecast accuracy, bias safety stock, WOS
  • Understanding of price elasticity and cannibalization
  • Advanced Excel skills and analytical approach to data
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, and attention to details
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy & ability to reconcile various data elements.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adjusts shifting priorities with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Understanding of S&OP
