This job was posted by : For more information, please see: The Van Drunen Family of Companies is growing!JOB OVERVIEW:The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for oversight, execution, refinement and continual improvement of the VanDrunen Farms/FutureCeuticals demand planning process, along with ongoing support of the daily, weekly and monthly activities of sales department team members tasked with forecast entry, evaluation, and refinement.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Demand Planning ProcessAccountable for the development and delivery of the total demand plan through each Sales and Operations Planning cycle for rolling 18-month horizonResponsible for setup and ongoing maintenance of data in our forecasting softwareResponsible for working closely with the sales teams in entering an accurate forecast in our forecasting software, generating reports for forecast, and aggregating forecasts into weekly/monthly reportsConduct overall monthly and yearly forecast maintenance and reconciliationConduct regular meetings with sales team members for review and refinement of sales forecastsLead the demand plan review process and drive interactions with other areas of the business to ensure that all objectives in the demand process are metResponsible for working closely with the sales teams to forecast new business projectsWork with cross-functional teams track progress against a 5-year strategyTeam AlignmentPlan, coordinate and execute demand planning activities in lock step with sales management and team membersSchedule regular forecast review meetings with the Sales Leadership TeamAssists the Sales Leadership Team in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales revenue and margin forecasts including ongoing sales to budget variance analysis throughout the yearOrganizational CommunicationPrepare for and lead the Monthly Demand MeetingMonitor and report on actual demand vs. forecasted demand within the current month to alert the business to significant shiftsTrack and report monthly forecast accuracy broken down to various categories including product line, sales team.Continuous ImprovementDevelop a culture of continuous improvement, using training and development to advance knowledge and skill across the team responsible for demand planningPropose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracyReview, challenge, and continually improve the demand planning system where appropriateDrive continuous forecast improvement by analyzing and diagnosing forecast issues and providing solutions to improve efficienciesJOB EXPERIENCE:2+ years of related experience in areas of planning, analysis, and collaboration with manufacturing operations.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSExcellent communication skillsStrong persuasion and interpersonal skillsWorks well with a teamManages time efficientlyPays close attention to detailIdeally possesses relevant market/industry awarenessCan conduct independent researchStrong analytical and creative skillsProficient in Excel and PowerBIIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsFuturMaster experience preferredExcellent collaboration skillsEDUCATIONBachelor\'s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance or AccountingDemand Planning Education/Certification (i.e. IBF, ASCM) preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sit and use a computer for a long period of time.Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents.Sufficient near vision acuity to read information ap earing on computer display screen, hand-written forms, and printed on paper.Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.WORKING CONDITIONS:Indoor office environment, may on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipmentIn the Van Drunen Family of Companies, commitment to excellence is in everything we do!
