NOW HIRING: Activity Aide - Dementia Unit
Responsibilities of an Activity Aide
- Assist in planning and organizing daily activities, events, and outings for residents.
- Encourage resident participation in activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Help set up and clean up activity areas before and after events.
- Provide one-on-one attention to residents who are unable to participate in group activities.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director and other staff to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities as needed.
Qualifications of an Activity Aide:
- High school diploma
- Previous experience working with the elderly or in a similar role preferred.
- Serious applicants
