**The position:**
We are looking for a **Demi** **Chef de Partie** to join our team at ***The Springs Resort & Golf Club*** in ***Wallingford, Oxfordshire.***
This is a **permanent** position to work **full time** hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.
**Main responsibilities:**
The successful Demi Chef de Partie will
* Work alongside our skilled Head Chef and friendly kitchen team.
* Assist with food preparation, waste management and portion control.
* Perform consistently in line with the companys high standards.
* Take responsibility for prompt preparation and food service.
* Accurate and efficient stock rotation.
* Ensure clean, hygienic and tidy workspaces within the kitchen at all times.
* Comply with all food hygiene regulations at all times.
**Requirements:**
* Some previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is desired.
* Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety are desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills.
* Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
* A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
