Position Summary:The Denial Auditor is responsible for analyzing denials data, creating metrics, as well as tracking and trending denials and results. The Denial Management Specialist will identify and trend root causes and report findings as well as assist in mapping out process improvement opportunities. The person in this position will coordinate payor denials and audit Follow-up Representative activities to ensure timely response for the processing of all payor denials, audit requests and appeals.
Minimum Qualifications:- Most have a working knowledge of how Epic hospital billing systems work, Training for Epic PB systems will be provided.
- Knowledge of creating/Maintaining Excel/google sheets is required
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:- Epic hospital billing system knowledge desired
- Epic PB billing system knowledge is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Hospital A/R follow-up Representative or Hospital Billing, Denials Experience preferred
