We have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Jackson as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care. Responsibilities:
- Able to build rapport with patients.
- Prepare patients for dental work.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiar with Dental software and equipment.
- Dental Assistants are responsible for the set-up/break down, including disposing of any bio-hazards properly.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Must follow all infection control procedures.
- Must be able to complete clerical reporting on a daily/monthly basis.
Requirements
- Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB
- Two (2) years or more of experience
- X-Ray Certified
- CPR/BLS
- Valid Driver License; Reliable Transportation
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting
- Expanded duty dental assistant preferred
- Coronal polishing certification preferred
