Job Description: we are currently seeking a passionate, experienced dental assistant to join our dynamic team. As a dental assistant at Riverhill Dental Associates, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, building lasting relationships with patients, and promoting overall oral health. An ideal candidate would be a exceptional multi-tasker and able to anticipate doctor and patient needs. Educating patients about diagnosed treatment and living a healthier lifestyle. Must function well under pressure, be open to constructive criticism and be highly organized. We use Eaglesoft practice management software and all digital radiography. Assistant certification preferred, but would be willing to train the right person. Schedule is Monday through Thursday regularly, with a few Fridays when necessary.

Responsibilities: Assist with dental treatment of patients to include seating patients, assist with procedures, prepare and mix dental materials as instructed, chart treatment in patient record, prepare treatment plans for patients and have the ability to explain procedures with patients.

Prepare work areas and instruments for dentist, keep work area neat and orderly, clean oil and set up equipment, disinfect surfaces, sterilize instruments and set up instrument trays.

Take necessary x-rays and import them into software, ability to take dental impressions and pour up cast models.

Must have abilities; passionate about patient care. Willingness to help other team members wherever needed, the desire to continually learn new skills. Reliable, you must show up to work on time. Be a multitasker and work accurately under pressure. Comfortable working with computers.
