- Monday - Thursday 8 am - 6 pm
- Friday 8 am - 3 pm or 9 am - 3 pm

Position Overview:Patient-Centered Care: As a Dental Assistant, assess individual patient needs and prioritize care to ensure a comfortable and positive experience. Provide direct, individualized support by implementing necessary procedures under the supervision of dentists and dental hygienists to promote optimal patient outcomes. Empower Patient Wellness: Encourage patient wellness by assisting with treatments, procedures, and oral health education. Emphasize preventive care and lifestyle management, fostering proactive habits to enhance oral health and overall patient satisfaction. Facilitate Coordination and Communication: Act as a key liaison between patients, dental teams, and administrative staff. Facilitate clear communication to ensure continuity of care, coordinate referrals, and maintain accurate documentation using dental management software to support efficient healthcare delivery. Excellence in Clinical Practice: Demonstrate clinical knowledge and technical skills by performing tasks such as taking dental radiographs, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with dental procedures. Ensure accurate infection control protocols and adhere to practice standards to uphold high quality in clinical practice. Maintain Clinical Standards: Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control in the dental environment. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic setting for patient care. Comply with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy. Professional Development and Adaptability: Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and procedures as dental practices evolve. Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate empathy, and build strong patient relationships to enhance the overall patient experience. Miscellaneous Tasks and Team Collaboration: Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support departmental needs and contribute to the growth of the dental team. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating flexibility in work scheduling and assignments to meet organizational goals. Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative in a collaborative environment
- Desire to learn and grow professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of current technology & software (Dentrix, Dexis) preferred
- Bilingual - Spanish strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits:
- $24 - $27 per hour, commensurate with experience
