- Monday 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday Every Other 9:00am -4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient with handling supplies and instruments as requested.
- Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms/trays as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturers instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, initiating repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant: General, Surgical, Orthodontic, etc.
- ACLS certification perferred but not required
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Open Dental is a plus!
