Your role / Job duties
Assist patients with minor difficulties, answer their questions, and provide directions as authorized by the Dentist or Dental Hygienist.
Serve as the chair-side assistant for the Dentist or Dental Hygienist.
Prepare the operatory for patient treatment per Dental Department protocols and directions.
Expose dental radiographs in accordance with NH Dental Practice Act and Dental Department protocols.
Perform independent procedures as delegated by the dentist following NH Dental Practice Act, laws, and Dental Department directives.
Maintain Dental Department equipment per manufacturer's directions and Dental Department policies.
Ensure all Dental Department areas comply with infection control, exposure control, and safety protocols.
Maintain adequate operatory supplies and manage inventory control.
Monitor patient flow and assist in ensuring accurate and timely completion and filing of patient records.
Support various clinical and administrative functions, including phone calls and clinic business.
Ensure sterility of reusable dental instruments and equipment and manage lab cases.
Properly dispose of contaminated materials following Dental Department directives and regulations.
Comply fully with the Dental Department Exposure Control Plan, including using Personal Protective Equipment and Universal precautions.
Perform additional tasks to achieve organizational and programmatic goals, including travel as directed.
Qualifications / What you need
High school degree or equivalency.
Completion of accredited courses in dental assisting required. Certification (CDA) preferred.

Full Time (Non-Exempt)
$21.22-$29.12 per hour based on experience
Eligible for Benefits
This position is eligible for a $2500.00 Retention Bonus.
Benefits
All regularly scheduled employees working at least 32 hours per week are eligible to receive full benefits; those working 24-31 hours per week will receive prorated benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
