Dental Assistant is needed in Ormond Beach, FL

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage of $22 to $24, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Work a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Assist in a busy, state-of-the-art office with 50 new patients monthly (3 Dentists and 3 Hygienists)
• Support dentists during dental procedures including extractions, root canals, implants, and fillings
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and provide patient care during procedures
• Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain patient records and manage dental supplies

Requirements:

• Active Dental Assistant certification in the State of Florida
• 2 Years of Experience is Required
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Required
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and safety protocols
