This position works under the supervision of a dentist and dental office manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Driving the company vehicle to the scheduled facility
- Preparing patients for dental procedures
- Taking and developing dental X-rays
- Chairside assisting the dentist or dental hygienist
- Cleaning and polishing teeth
- Applying fluoride treatments
- Instructing patients on oral hygiene
- Maintaining dental records
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience working in a dental setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- State Driver's License and clean driving record
Dental Assistant Benefits:
- Rate: $25.00-$30.00/hr (very negotiable and based on experience and credentials)
