Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, WE are Yakima - WE are Family and YVFWC - And then we grew, for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.Position Highlights$48.14 - $59.57/hour DOEAdditional pay for your bilingual skillsClinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-6:00 pmAs a Dental Hygienist, your tasks will include:Updating patient records, conducting X-ray procedures, charting, and preparing exam toolsProviding periodontal care and preventive treatment, performing dental restorative procedures, performing expanded functions, and administering anesthesiaEducating patients on oral hygiene, assisting in infection control, and participating in dental education program development along with other assigned tasksQualifications:Graduation from a Dental Hygiene schoolActive WA State Dental Hygiene licenseCPR certificationBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred (level 10 to receive bilingual differential pay)Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene conceptsSkilled in dental anesthesia and restorative proceduresAbility to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all agesEffective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlinesHigh level of dexterity and coordinationBasic proficiency with Electronic Dental Records, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelOur mission celebrates diversity.
