Our dental centers serve all patients, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status, providing general family dentistry and dental hygiene services.· Starting at $33.00/hour· Shifts are between the hours of 8 AM - 5 PM Monday - FridayThe Dental Hygienist works in conjunction with a dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients, while keeping the patient's care, comfort and safety as the primary concern. The Dental Hygienist assesses the oral health of the patient, teaches patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies, removes hard and soft deposits from all surfaces and applies preventive materials to the teeth while maintaining policies and procedures consistent with the Family Health Center of Marshfield, Inc.Associate degree in Dental Hygiene is required, Bachelor's preferred. An unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Dental Hygiene License. Local anesthetic State of Wisconsin Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required. Two years of experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred, but willing to hire the right candidate with less.Candidates may be eligible to apply for the Wisconsin Health Professions Loan Assistance Program, established to assist rural and urban underserved communities in recruiting and retaining primary care health and dental professionals. Dentists who agree to work at an eligible site located in a federally designated health professional shortage area (HPSA) are eligible for up to $50,000 in education loan repayment assistance through this competitive program. Dental hygienists are eligible for up to $25,000. A service commitment of three years is required in a federally designated HPSA.
