QUALIFICATIONS:A. Licensed to practice dentistry in the state. B. Graduate of a formal accredited school of dentistryC. Working knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of dental and oral diseasesD. Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices methods, and techniques of dentistry. E. Working knowledge of preventative dentistry and educational methodologies utilized in prevention. F. Skill in oral operative techniquesG. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Provides preventative clinical services:
- Prophylaxis of teeth
- Sealants
- Oral hygiene education
- Baby bottle tooth decay education
- Radiographs
- Topical fluoride applications
- Impressions
- Coronal polishing
- Amalgam polishing
- Space maintenance
- Root planning and curettage
B. Provides emergency clinical services:
- Extractions
- Incisive and drain infections
- Prescribes medications as needed
- Treatment of oral trauma
C. Provides restorative clinical services:
- Amalgams
- Composites
- Crowns
- Endodontics
- Prosthetics
D. Diagnosis of dental and oral diseasesGSP Health is a non-profit health center that provides dental, medical, and behavioral healthcare to the under served populations of Northwest Oklahoma.
