DEPARTMENT MANAGER - MAINTENANCE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE DEPARTMENT MANAGER - MAINTENANCE- Oversees preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
- Identifies equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.
- Evaluates equipment improvements; reviews detailed data; analyzes data and reports results.
- Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses difficult, infrequent problems with equipment.
- Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and writes equipment maintenance procedures.
- Identifies and manages capital projects/improvements.
- Proven experience with CMMS, PM systems and RCM programs.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED FOR THE DEPARTMENT MANAGER - MAINTENANCE- High School diploma required. 4-year college degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience as determined by department management.
- Three or more years' experience in a manufacturing, engineering, staff support position or other relatable role.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Effectively coaches, gives performance feedback and provides development opportunities within or across areas or departments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend new equipment, and process and maintenance technologies.
- Ability to operate a computer workstation.
