Our client is a global manufacturer of glass products with forty-nine US locations, and they are seeking to hire operational leaders from the military. If you served in a supervisory position, responsible for mission attainment, personnel, productivity goals, and process improvement, you will be an ideal candidate for this Department Manager role in production. You will be based in north-central Indiana close to the borders of Michigan and Ohio.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring your product assembly line makes mission. You will have a team of 5-6 supervisors and 40-50 production employees working across three weekday shifts. Training, safety, production forecasting/goals, schedule management, and interaction with all stakeholders will fall under your purview.Base salary, $70 - $80K plus monthly profit sharing and full comprehensive benefits, a annual plant bonus potential and monthly profit sharing. Candidates with prior civilian production management experience as well as candidates transitioning from active duty are encouraged to explore this role. This is a first shift Monday - Friday role with some Saturday requirements during peak production periods.
