- The Department Secretary manages the flow of the Front Desk at Princeton House Inpatient Admissions. Responsible for answering and appropriately routing all phone calls, and assisting all patients/visitors who present to Princeton House.
Responsibilities:
- Answesr telephones in a prompt, courteous manner, directs calls to proper areas, and takes/relays messages appropriately. Receives and directs all visitors in a courteous manner. Appropriately receives all patients by copying photo ID and insurance card, and distributing appropriate paperwork to patients and staff. Maintains, organizes, and assures the availability of unit supplies, including visitor passes and Press Ganey surveys. Sorts and distributes all mail accurately on a daily basis.
Credentials:
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Minimum Experience: Previous experience in secretarial and/or reception duties is required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
