This position will be responsible for serving as the TPL Project Coordinator and Data Analyst. The project coordinator will be responsible for establishing relationships with third party payers. This individual will serve as the coordinator for Cost Avoidance Unit projects including, but not limited to system modification and business process changes in conjunction with communicating and collaborating closely with other areas in MDHHS, contractors, and external stakeholders.This position supports the Cost Avoidance Unit by analyzing and developing data and system activities to meet necessary requirements to enhance operation effectiveness and efficiency. This position will serve as the coordinator for evaluating, documenting and training staff on system and operational impacts as it relates to Coverage Lead Identification and Online Coverage Submission Portal activities.In addition, the individual will serve as the TPL Cost Avoidance expert in current operations, the impact of related systems and file interfaces, and will possess a greater understanding of the impacts to TPL when changes in the insurance industry occur.E Level Position DescriptionDepartmental Analyst 12 (A level)The position serves as the TPL Cost Avoidance Senior Analyst responsible for developing and providing a wide range of analytical, innovation, productivity, research, and training activities related to TPL Cost Avoidance functions and other Health Insurance Liability operational activities.
