Job Description:
Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is searching for an energetic, customer-focused, and professional candidate to join our Deposit Operations team. This full-time Deposit Operations Specialist dual position will work primarily in our Clear Lake Office. This provides the highest quality of support with operational functions for deposit accounts. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Provide bank customers with support by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns via phone, email, and chat channels.
  • Efficiently and accurately resolve customer issues, including but not limited to account inquiries, transaction disputes, fraud, and technical difficulties.
  • Assist customers with account maintenance tasks such as password resets, contact information changes, debit card limit change requests, stop payments, etc.
  • Educate customers about the bank's products and services, cross-sell bank products when applicable to benefit the customer to resolve their customer service issues.
  • Review reports and perform balancing for ACH, Maintenance, ATMs, closed accounts, stop alerts and unposted items.
  • Assist with completing service sessions for account maintenance, bill pay review, and printing of forms and notices.
  • Assist in other areas as needed to support the overall performance of the bank and service to its customers.
Typical work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM,
  • Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon approximately every 4th Saturday,
  • Candidates will be expected to be able to be flexible at times and available to meet the needs of the Bank.
  • *Candidates for this position may select their preference for full-time or full-time modified position status. Full-time hours are typically 38-40 per week; full-time modified hours are typically 35-38 hour per week.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior banking, customer service, or call center experience of one year or more is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in PC usage and standard office applications (i.e. Microsoft Word & Outlook), and Customer Relationship Manager software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to speak clearly and succinctly with a friendly telephone manner.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues with bank products and services.
  • Strong positive interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
