1st Advantage Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a full time Deposit Operations Specialist to support our Deposit Operations Department. Scheduled hours will be 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Deposit Operations Specialist will complete account maintenance on credit union accounts; research and resolve issues while providing support to branches/departments.

Deposit Operations Specialist Essential Functions & Responsibilities
* To process remote deposits, mail, emails, DNA activities, open CD, new accounts, closed accounts, name and address changes, work carious reports, bill matric, ATM deposits, debit card functions, gift card functions, Service Center functions, and ATM servicing.
* To process stop payments, check requests, back up withholding reporting, Federal Reserve adjustments, Service Center adjustments, balancing ATM network.
* To process incoming and outgoing wire transfers and work various monthly reports.
* To process ATM deposit envelopes to verify, post and balance items accordingly.
* To complete the required training and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurement
* To meet timeliness and accuracy requirements of all essential functions including various reports that may be collectively or individually assigned.
* Perform loan maintenance and transactions received via the mail, faxes, answers, and CU scripters.
* To process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, both domestic and international, including OFAC and problem resolution.
* To process ATM deposits including receiving, signing, reconciling, and delivering cash to the branch, and adhering to all security standards including dual control.
* To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
* To provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and colleagues within established time frame.
* To proactively demonstrate the 1st Advantage FCU core values of integrity, trust, hard work and dedication, passion and vision for all member and colleague interactions.
* To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
Qualifications:
Education High school education or GED
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Individuals must be able to operate general office equipment, understand and use office products including Word and Excel proficiently. Analytical thinking is required in this position as well as the ability to multitask and work independently.

Average Visual Abilities - Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, read email and computer screens, and operate office machinery.
Physical Strength - Sedentary work; sitting at a desk or workstation a majority of work hours. Exerts up to 25lbs of force occasionally and required to lift up to 25bs.
Reaching and Stretching - Reaching and stretching, below the shoulders, to access files, checks, documents, or office equipment on and across shelves, counters, and desks.
