About the role
The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of regular and recurring deposit operations functions, including debit card disputes, fraud, debit card tracking, quality control, imaging review, and special projects as assigned.
What you will do
* Conducts maintenance for deposit files, document review, and debit card disputes.
* Performs monitoring and cleanup tasks as assigned.
* Acts as an escalation point to ensure timely responses to advanced customer issues related to deposit operations.
* Ensures consistent implementation of deposit operations procedures across all branches.
* Establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance to legal and government rules and regulations.
* Provides ongoing support to branch staff in deposit operations areas, such as supporting online banking products and services.
* Acts as a backup to onboarding and maintenance for online business banking.
* Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Previous banking operations experience in accounting or deposit operations preferred.
* Functional knowledge of accounting concepts and procedures and banking operations.
* Strong PC skills including proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
