This position may be based at either the Canandaigua or Bath main facilities. The incumbent will be required to travel routinely between the 3 main facilities of Canandaigua, Bath and Rochester with additional travel to rural CBOC's periodically.You may qualify for a recruitment incentive

The position serves as Acting Chief of Staff in the absence of the Chief of Staff. The Deputy Chief of Staff will collaborate with the Chief of Staff to provide oversight and leadership to the clinical care lines and programs, including Community Care, as determined by the facility Medical Center Director and/or Chief of Staff. The Deputy Chief of Staff will also provide program oversight and coordination across care lines to successfully meet access measures per Mission Act guidelines/Community Care Program, quality of care SAIL metrics in all clinical service lines reporting to the COS, physician recruitment & retention and any other programs/ functions / priorities as determined by the facility Medical Center Director and/or of Staff. The Deputy COS will assist the COS in the operations of all service lines reporting to the COS. Will be expected to participate in direct patient care in their area of practice.Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm - Due to the nature of this leadership position, it is expected that working hours could be extended beyond the normal tour of duty
