The primary responsibility of this role would be to work in tandem with the Chief Underwriting Officer on optimizing underwriting and risk management strategies and as well help coordinate on internal projects with Claims, Actuaries, Security, Data Science, Marketing, Product and Operations. This role can also help assist with capacity relationships, audits, authority letter management, operations, etc.This is a hybrid position located in New York or London.Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of strategic underwriting direction (both short and long term to include rate strength, appetite, business mix consistent with Resilience strategy).
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions for both new hires and the existing team.
  • Support the setting of strategy for rate adequacy, product, and pricing within assigned portfolios to achieve target production and profitability goals.
  • Support the analysis of emerging risks and market trends incorporating feedback from Claims, SRS and Actuarial.
  • Contribute to establishing, reviewing and executing underwriting standards and controls (including Underwriting authorities) as required.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in the cyber, technology or professional liability industry in either an underwriting or product management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving business outcomes and delivering value to customers.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Passion for delivering marketing leading results and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
