- Overseeing service delivery while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Setting goals, evaluating program effectiveness, and supervising senior leadership.
- Developing budgets, workforce strategies, and public-private partnerships.
- Representing the organization with stakeholders and contributing to strategic initiatives.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you'll work closely with the Executive Director to maintain a continuum of quality services for all ages.What we're looking forTo excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Master's degree in behavioral health or a related field.
- Extensive experience in leading a public or private human services organization.
- Deep knowledge of mental health, IDD, and substance use services.
- Familiarity with Virginia-specific regulations, including the IDD Waiver and Medicaid.
- Proven ability to network and collaborate with state and local government officials.
- Expertise in human services administration, financial management, and EHR compliance.
- Experience managing large psychiatric practices, including crisis services.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively.

- Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health principles, recovery-oriented care, and person-centered planning.
