Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Job DescriptionQualifications for the Job: (In addition to the minimum qualifications as per the corporate job description)The Deputy Lead will work with the Lead Manager and Senior Leadership, coordinating operations by organizing and implementing policies and procedures. They should support Exit Planners (EP's) and ensure goals are met, while EP's are adhering to their schedule. This can be achieved through:
  • Communicate job expectations and provide direction to staff
  • Disseminate information (including updates) to EPL's as it becomes available
  • Develop schedules and monitor the EPL Roll Call Roster System including but not limited to:
    • Monitor the Timesheet Tracking System to ensure EPL's are utilizing it
    • Ensure the EPL Directory is up to date, including site schedule and contact info
    • Manage EPL Schedule- call outs, swaps, vacation, etc. including coordinating with vendor(s) to ensure adequate coverage
  • Identify gaps (and make recommendations) in operations and troubleshoot including but not limited to:
    • Manage the Issue Escalation Log
    • Review and approve extensions, as submitted
    • Review EOD reports as well as QA logs - make recommendations; follow up as needed
  • Develop relationships and a rapport with your EPL's and escalate issues
    • Weekly site visits to be conducted- reports submitted to Manager
  • Coach and counsel EPL's to ensure the are using appropriate reporting tools daily
  • Attend weekly EPL meeting A Shift/Tuesday, B Shift/Thursday and weekly vendor meetings
  • Assist with the Onboarding of new staff by facilitating EPL Overview/Training and ensuring equipment and access to appropriate programs and listservs
  • Host Quarterly Refresher trainings
  • Manage the AAHC access tracker
  • Manage MRAP referrals to OTDA providers and guest moves
  • Other projects as assigned
  • This position requires candidates to be on site at least 3 days a week
  • All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Science, Social Work, Public Health or related discipline and three (3) years of full-time, progressively responsible experience in the field of community relations, community organization, public health and/or social services in a public or private social or health agency; or
  • A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and/or experience. However, all candidates must have minimum of a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting agency.
