With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:As Deputy Project Executive for a heavy civil tunnel rail project, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the project from conception to completion. You will work closely with the Program Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project within scope, schedule, and budget. Your leadership, expertise in heavy civil engineering, and project management skills will be essential in delivering a high-quality and safe infrastructure project.Role accountabilities:Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop project strategies, objectives, and plans in alignment with organizational goals.Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.Provide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure the timely and successful completion of project milestones.Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution.Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track.Act as a primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues effectively.Implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Champion a culture of safety on the project site, enforcing safety protocols and promoting a zero-incident mindset.Monitor project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting.Review and approve project expenditures, change orders, and invoices in accordance with established procedures.Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth and development.Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and milestones.Qualifications & Experience:15+ years of experience in heavy civil construction projects, with specific experience in tunneling and rail infrastructure highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $190,000- $210,000.
