Salary/Pay Rate: $35,924 - $41,050 depending on experiencePosted Date: 11/20/2024Accomack County is currently recruiting for a full-time Deputy Registrar in the Office of the Registrar. The position is responsible for performing a variety of data processes and customer service duties for the Registrar's office. Excellent front desk service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality in an office setting are a must. This position also requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED; supplemented by vocational/technical training in business, or data processing; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Preferred qualifications are: bi-lingual capabilities, strong data management skills and familiarity with the voting process. This position also requires evening or weekend hours during certain periods of the election cycle.
