  • Take an active lead role on renovation projects.
  • Facilitate and coordinate review of shop drawings and other submittals process for Architectural Items and Interior Finishes.
  • Obtain competitive pricing and prepare a budget for operating supplies and equipment.
  • Assist Project Managers with coordination, preparation, review and finalization of construction drawings/specifications, submittals, RFIs, and Responsibility Matrix.
Design
  • Assist with all design related responsibilities for NCG projects internally or through third party design vendors.
  • Help maintain design library, meet with FF&E sales representatives, research products, distributors, and manufacturers
  • Help find preferred vendors and execute price negotiating.
  • Track project submittal and sample reviews, coordinate and track consultant and vendor contracts and subcontracts.
Purchasing
  • Prepare and submit vendor Purchase Orders for OS&E.
  • Procure items in a timely manner for new construction and renovation projects.
  • Perform any necessary invoice reconciliation and resolve any issues with vendors.
  • Prepare correspondence, check requests and ensure purchasing documents are properly completed.
Qualifications

  • Associate degree in architectural technology and/or construction, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have working knowledge of construction documents (AutoCAD, BlueBeam and Revit knowledge a benefit).
  • Experience with project coordination and construction site coordination.
  • Knowledge of accounting and purchasing software.
  • Intermediate skill level for Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects, and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with all levels of workers, vendors and business professionals with negotiation techniques and diplomacy.
