The Junior Design Consultant will be responsible for driving sales growth by offering a wide range of product solutions to clients, building relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across the Maryland territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development & Opportunity Growth: Assist in identifying new sales opportunities and contribute to growing existing accounts through offering a variety of design product solutions.Client Relationship Management: Work closely with architects, designers, and contractors to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service by offering timely responses, product support, and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth communication.Territory Support: Provide dedicated service to clients ensuring products and services align with client needs and project specifications.Collaboration with Team: Work alongside a team of experienced professionals to learn industry best practices, stay current with product offerings, and contribute to company-wide goals.Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the product portfolio, including technical specifications, features, and benefits, to effectively assist customers and make appropriate recommendations.Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking customer interactions, and maintaining detailed records of projects, proposals, and communications.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in design, Architecture, Business, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in a sales, design, or customer service-related role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with design software is a plus.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
