In the role of Control Systems Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to: Participate in the design of complex supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems Assist with selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment Assist with development of biddable and technically accurate instrumentation and control system construction documents Assist with the development of software applications for automation such as programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) Assist with system testing and commissioning activities Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables. Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects Give direction to clerical and technical personnel Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task Knowledgeable of Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Wonderware and/or Interlution.
