Design Your Future at PVHDesign Development Coordinator - Calvin KleinPOSITION SUMMARY:The Design Development Coordinator works closely with Product Development, Design, and Global Supply Chain to ensure all details of the line are implemented accurately from initial concept to bulk production while adhering to product development calendar. The Design Development Coordinator handles the overall communication with overseas offices and drives the product development process.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:Partner with Design for seasonal development and new product launchesWork with Design for all necessary information to create tech packages in PLM for initial season set up and change management for post market revisions and additions to the lineCollaborate with Design to send development packages to overseas partners for material sourcingInitiate and track material development from concept through production, ensuring material qualities fit the aesthetic and cost structure of each brand, and alert management of exceptionsLead and monitor the timely approval of lab dip and quality submits while adhering to development timelineCommunicate material development comments directly to the hub/mill/factoryCreate Proto Development chart to track status of proto from initial request to final approvalSchedule proto review meetings with Design and communicate comments to Hub officeWork with Design to initiate flash cost request; maintain cost request tracking log for follow up and receipt of costing information from Hub officeCollaborate with Design to create line sheet with images using Adobe IllustratorAssign and maintain style numbers and trim codes for mainline and off priceWork with Design to finalize tech packages and release to corresponding Hub officeResponsible for all daily communication with overseas officesMaintain and oversee calendar timingEstablish effective relationships with internal partners in Design, Merchandise Planning, and Global Supply chain to help implement cross functional alliance and collaborationEnter all necessary information in XPC system to complete style packageExperience:1-3 years' experience recommended in product development merchandising or other related work experienceStrong organizational skillsStrong sense of collaboration and ability to multitaskWork independentlyExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environmentHigh level and must work well under pressureEducation:4 year degree preferredSkills:Proficient in Microsoft OfficeProficient in PDM/PLMWorking knowledge of Adobe Illustrator#LI-LS2This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Pay Range:$70,000 - $90,000PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
