Our client, a kid's apparel brand, is seeking a Design Director to manage their Infant & Toddler girl's teams!
This role is onsite 4 days per week in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all related job responsibilities for the design team
- Manage design process from concept through production
- Manage and oversee a team of Designers, Associate Designers, Assistant Designers, and Graphic Artists
- Ensure brand identity remains consistent
- Deliver design and trend direction for all categories including: woven, knits, sweaters, tops, skirts, dresses, bottoms and coats
- Maintain a supportive and collaborative team environment
Requirements:
- 8-10+years of experience in Design, with a background in girl's apparel
- Strong organizational skills, leadership skills, and ability to multitask
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study
- Must be comfortable working on site in NYC 4 days a week
