Open to current students or recent graduates! (Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm)

Industry leader in the Clifton Park area is looking for a Designer/Drafter to join their team. In this position, open due to growth, the individual will work closely with the engineering team on drafting and modeling of mechanical and electrical components. Our client is offering a competitive benefits package, healthy and collaborative work environment, and significant room for growth.

Highlights:

• Salary: $50,000– $60,000/year
• Location: Ballston Spa, NY
• Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8 AM – 5 PM

General responsibilities:

• Produce detailed mechanical component drawings, assembly drawings and models of large enclosures and structural assemblies
• Performing form, fit, and function studies to ensure designs meet all requirements
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to produce drawings of electrical assemblies, components, and motor systems
• Prepare technical reports, production engineering documentation, and test data
