Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer II - Substation Design for a Full time/Perm job with a client for Las Vagas NV. Strong background experience in Substation Design, Cost, Budgeting, finance, including PE license Any state.
Perm/FTE Role
Location: Las Vegas NV (Day1 Onsite)
Salary Range: $130K to $138K; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Summary: Provides comprehensive engineering design services for substation facilities, and ensures the facilities are constructed on schedule and within committed resource allocations. Leads functional teams and provides technical oversight in performing all phases of projects. Assists with internal training for engineers and technicians. Works closely with managers and principal engineers on higher-level projects, and in recommending and implementing changes that benefit the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree from accredited school in electrical engineering and 8 years industry experience as a practicing engineer and must be a licensed PE. If no PE license, must have 10+ years as a practicing engineer
Skills:
Substation/control engineering principals and knowledge of other phases of engineering.
Areas of cost control, budgets, finance, and accounting with technical experiences in cost analysis.
Skills such as:
Analytical, interpersonal and communication with company personnel, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Multi-tasking's, leadership, research, analysis, project management, problem-solving and decision-making.
