We are looking for a Design Lead, SMC Marketing to join Snap Inc s global Small and Medium Customers (SMC) organization. This role will lead a team of talented designers to develop and execute design strategy for performance marketing campaigns and sales enablement materials with the goal of driving advertiser and revenue growth. This includes content such as paid ads, sales enablement decks and one-pagers, emails and Snap s web properties. The role will build global creative strategy, while collaborating with an internal team of marketing managers, web developers and copywriters to create impactful, measurable campaigns. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented designer who brings relevant experience in strategizing on and creating performance marketing and sales enablement materials.What you ll do:Lead a team of multidisciplinary designers and work hands-on to develop marketing campaigns across the small and medium customer audienceCollaborate across functions with strategic program owners, marketers, and copywriters to understand creative needs and develop performance marketing deliverables with the goal of contributing to advertiser and revenue growthLeverage campaign insights in order to help the team continue to optimize campaign collateral to improve engagement rates and conversions with fast turnaround timesUnify and up-level creative direction and vision for small and medium customer campaigns, while adhering to brand guidelinesActively take part in assessing business needs to onboard and train new resourcesStay ahead of industry trends to continue to elevate design strategy for performance marketing and sales enablement materialsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Demonstrated experience leading and guiding multidisciplinary designersHands on experience in creating thoughtful marketing content across web, emails, ads, decks and one-pagers for global audiences with a strong emphasis on business resultsUnderstanding of performance marketing and sales enablement content best practicesAbility to articulate strategic design decisionsDemonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business concepts into easy to understand creative collateral Ability to consistently uplevel design aesthetic, while keeping in mind business goalsSelf-starter with strong collaboration skills and ability to multitask. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and is comfortable with ambiguity and fast paced environmentsDemonstrated ability to communicate with senior leadership Experience working in a data driven environment Experience or familiarity in working with the media or digital advertising industryExperience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, particularly with After Effects and FigmaMinimum Qualifications:BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience8+ years experience in digital content creationExcellent Verbal and written communication skills Experience working in a data driven environment Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, particularly with After Effects and FigmaPreferred Qualifications:Direct experience with guiding and leading multidisciplinary designersSenior Stakeholder management experiencePassion for change, Snapchat, and creativity!If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don t be shy and provide us some information. The successful candidate s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$179,000 annually.Zone C:The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.SummaryLocation: Los Angeles, California; San Francisco, California; Palo Alto, California; New York, New YorkType: Full time
