Yahoo is seeking Freelance Production Designers & Animators highly skilled in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The candidate must work efficiently and excel in a fast-paced environment where creativity drives a demanding workflow. Candidates should be able to quickly create and design and illustrate show graphics for fast-turnaround deliveries, original logos, backgrounds and opening title cards while adhering to brand guidelines.Responsibilities: Be able to conceptualize designs and collaborate. Be able to produce consistent professional artwork and animations at an accelerated rate. Ability to work within both template assets and Brand Guidelines Have excellent time management skills and work consecutively on multiple projects under short, sometimes same-day, deadlines. Be able to create and design graphics quickly while conforming to show formats, as well as develop long-term projects, promos, and animations. Be an effective communicator who works to continue fostering the team-oriented environment. Interface well with all designers in the department. Have a can-do attitude eager to problem-solve for creative and technical challenges.Qualifications: Minimum 4 years experience designing and animating graphics for digital broadcast environments Portfolio of graphic design and animation examples Experience in video production workflows Solid knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator Based in New York, but opportunity for remote work Preferred East Coast time zone
