Our client a well known intimates company is looking for a Designer to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and execute styles that align with seasonal directions, target costs, and meet superior fit and quality standards.
- Seek out fresh ideas and innovative designs, excelling in construction, pattern making, daywear, and shapewear, ensuring products are intelligently designed for a comprehensive size range.
- Manage designs from concept to fit approval, making critical decisions impacting aesthetics, fit, construction, and cost, and ensuring fit intent throughout the style's lifecycle.
- Ensure smooth handoff of design packages, maintaining fit integrity across the entire size range, and attend fittings to evaluate fit results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Merchandising, Product Development, Pattern Grading, and Technical Engineering, throughout the design process.
- Manage multiple priority projects, meeting calendar deadlines by anticipating needs, developing solutions, and ensuring on-time delivery of all design tasks.
- Inspire and assist in developing junior design talent, fostering collaborative and effective relationships internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years minimum experience in intimate apparel industry required
- Bachelor s degree in Design, Technical Design, Product Development and Patterning
