We are currently looking for a Designer to join one of the group's specialist divisions. This division partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, to work on the critical issues of our time, including the climate emergency, national security, social justice, conflict prevention, and sustainable development. We provide a fully integrated, end to end service, combining multi-discipline communications teams with subject matter experts, across the world. Our work is domestic and global, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with international activity orientated towards conflict affected or developing countries. This role is based out of our New York office. Job Responsibilities:
- Create client-ready design work, art direction and creative artwork on a variety of projects across multiple touch points, often involving fast turnaround digital display messaging.
- Responsible for executing design briefs from concept to delivery.
- A team player and frequently collaborates with multiple teams within in the business and external, pro-active in communicating / questioning briefs to get the best out of every project.
- Turning strategy ideas into design solutions and helping communicate digital messaging most effectively with strong, simple and impactful designs.
- Always think of ways to make the work (and our processes) better with a strong attention to detail.
- Understands the target audience and client / business needs
- Good instinct for which projects need a quick design solution and which need more time and crafting. Capable of stepping up to a leadership/management/art director capacity as when it's needed.
- Will be able to advise on the requirements of all projects.
About You:
- 2+ years relevant design experience.
- Very experienced and multi-disciplined and can work across most design and branding/identity projects. • Be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and ideally you'll be across After Effects and/or Premier Pro too. • We'd love you to have a Degree or Masters qualification in Graphic Design (or similar) but it is not essential. • We work in countries across the world. For this role, Spanish is a mandatory and if you happen to have a knowledge of politics/international relations or experience of Latin American countries, so much the better! • A willingness to work flexible hours depending on the business needs would be a big bonus. • Be able to give the account management team technical guidance on both print and digital delivery and output.

Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from: $92,000 - $115,000. All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role.
